Invalid “dc” code under Device tag

The “dc” code is invalid.


The "dc" is a mandatory attribute for biometric-based auth Unique Registered Device Code. The " dc" is returned by RD Service when using biometric authentication.

• Install the latest version of RD service.

• Re-install the RD service.

• Clear the Cache of RD service.

• Use valid and registered devices only

Invalid “mc” code under Device tag

The “mc” code is invalid.


The "mc" attribute holds the registered device public key certificate. This is signed with the device provider key. The “mc” is returned by RD Service when using biometric authentication.

• Re-install the RD service.

• Clear the Cache of RD service.

• Ensure that the device certificate is not expired.

Invalid biometric data

Aadhaar and biometric mismatch OR

Templates are not ISO compliant (bad header and other issues with template) due to which it could not be extracted

• User may retry for authentication.

• Pass the correct Aadhaar value.

Invalid value in the “bs” attribute of “Bio” element within “Pid”

This error occurs when bs validation fails.

The "bs" is Base-64 encoded signed biometric hash of the bio record and formed by invoking the RD services during the biometric capture method.

• Restart the RD service

• Clear Cache of RD service.

• User may retry for authentication
