Border

Add Border allows for creating a frame around the content of the document.


Setup Border for the document

Step 1: Click on the “Add Border” button in the 2nd row of the Editing Tools


Step 2: Set the following configs concerning the border setup:

a. Thickness - How thick the border will be (in pixels)
b. Distance from page edge (this will be the same for top, bottom, left & right edges)
c. Style of border - Solid line or Dotted line



Step 3: Click on “OK”

Step 1: Click on the “Add Border” button in the 2nd row of the Editing Tools

Step 2: Set the new configuration for border and click on OK

Note: The border will only appear once a pdf has been generated and will not be visible in the display area or in the preview section.

It can only be viewed by clicking the “Generate pdf” button or the “Filled Document Preview” button.

Once the border configuration is set for the document, below is how the border looks in the final stage: 




Things to note:
1. Borders are not separately configurable in headers and footers and are universally applied on the document
2. Borders are not relative to the content in the pdf and can overlap if the “Distance from page edge” is not configured properly.
3. You cannot choose to remove the border from a certain page, it will appear on all pages
