Formatting Options

Formatting Options allow users to quickly format different parts of the document (headings, subheadings, lists, normal text, quotes) instead of applying several formatting options individually each time. 

Formatting options in the Leegality template engine are similar to any other word processing document like Microsoft Word or Google docs.

All Formatting options are in the last row of the Editing tools



List of Formatting Options

1. Bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough




2. Superscript and Subscript




3.  Copy Formatting


In order to copy the formatting of one piece on content in your template to another simply:
    1. Select the content you want the formatting to be copied from

    2. Press the “Copy formatting” button

    3. Select the content where you want the formatting to be applied

    4. Your desired formatting will be applied to the selected content




4. Remove Format




5. Insert/Remove Numbered List


In order to change the style and size of a numbered list, right-click beside the number and choose “Numbered List properties”


Type of Numbered list: 


  1. Lower Roman

  2. Upper Roman

  3. Lower Alphabetical

  4. Upper Alphabetical

  5. Decimal


Note: You can create a sublist by simply pressing the tab button on your keyboard



You can also change the size and style of the sublist by following the steps mentioned above (same as a parent list)

6. Insert/Remove Bulleted List




In order to change the style of a bulleted list, right-click beside the number and choose “Bulleted List properties”


Type of Bulleted list: 


  1. Circle

  2. Disc

  3. Square



Note: You can create a sublist by simply pressing the tab button on your keyboard
You can also change the style of the sublist by following the steps mentioned above (same as a parent list)


7. Decrease and Increase Indent

 



Note: Indent can be used to change the indent of numbered/bulleted lists as well i.e. increase and decreases indent will allow you to switch between a parent and sub list.

8. Left, Center, Right align and Justify


This option will align the content of the document to left, right, center and justify as required



9. Text Font


This option helps in changing the font of the content which can be chosen accordingly from the dropdown.


10. Font size


This option allows the user to change the font size of the content in the template



11. Line-height


This option helps the user to set the height of the line between two lines in the document




12. Text color


This option allows the user to change the content color



13. Background color


This option allows the user to change the background color of the content
