How to complete a document manually

A “Sent” document (that is partially signed) can be manually completed to create an audit trail that has all the details of the signer/reviewer from initiating the document till the latest sign/review.

If the document has been sent to the signers and a signer(s) has decided not to sign the document while one or more invitee(s) has signed the document, the audit trail can be generated and the document can be in the completed folder.

Steps for completing a document manually:

1. On your Leegality homepage Go to the “Sent” folder under the “My documents" section.

2. Double-clicking on the required document - will lead you to the details page.

3. Hover on the “Gear” icon for the invitation that needs to be deleted and click on the “Delete” button.

Note: Only active invitations are eligible for deletion.

Upon deleting the invite(s), the Esigns credits are credited back to the account, although, if a stamp paper is affixed, the same will be marked as used (since the document has already been signed at least once).

4. Once the invite(s) are revoked from the required document, click on the “Complete” button in the “Action” dropdown and confirm.

Now the manually completed document can be found in the “Complete” folder under the “My documents'

Once the document is completed manually, a copy of the completed document, along with the audit trail will be sent to the signer(s).
