Steps for Downloading Aadhaar XML


  1. Visit the webpage: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/offl


  1. On the webpage (screenshot above), enter your Aadhaar Number and the CAPTCHA (Security Code) visible on the screen. 


  1. After entering the details above, click on “Send OTP”. 



  1. On the next screen (screenshot above), enter a 4 digit Share Code.  Note the Share Code in a secure manner, as it will be required at a later stage for using the Aadhaar XML. 


  1. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile connected to the Aadhaar Number entered in Step 2 above. 


Click on “Download” to download the Aadhaar XML file.
