Mask Contact Details is a feature designed to protect the contact details of invitees (signers and reviewers). When enabled, this feature ensures that an invitee cannot view the contact details (name, phone number, and email address) of any invitee during and after the signing journey. This option helps maintain privacy and security by preventing the exposure of contact details to unauthorized parties.
Go to Home > Accounts Tab.
Select Department from the left panel and open the Invitee Configurations tab.
Then Enable masking of contact details in the invitee journey for the organisation.
Click Update.
You can only see the Contact Details Masking option if it is enabled for your organisation.
To enable Mask Contact Details for invitees who should not see the contact details of other invitees:
The rest of the signing journey is the same as other eSign processes.
The Mask Contact Details feature partially obscures invitees' contact information by replacing some characters with asterisks (*). For example:
In the Invitee List, names, emails, and phone numbers will be partially hidden, with some characters replaced by asterisks (*).
Only invitees for whom the Mask Contact Details option was enabled will receive an audit trail where the contact details of other invitees are protected.
All invitees’ names, email addresses, and phone numbers will be masked.
If an invitee has signed the document using Aadhaar eSign, their Name and street address will be masked from the Certificate Details.
Names, emails, and phone information are masked in the details page, including:
Invitee Cards and their details
